It is light and durable, because it is made with the most modern technologies from the best composite materials.

• Guarantees protection of the engine and its components against any impacts.
• Protects the engine compartment from the salt and moisture characteristic of Latvian winters.
• Unlike its metal counterparts, the composite material protector absorbs shocks without permanent deformation, which could later lead to damage to the engine or its components.
• The motor guard is attached to the elements of the car that are subject to load – the spars, as well as the front and rear beams. The guard's fastening elements also serve as fuses at the same time. Upon receiving a strong dynamic impact that exceeds the strength of the side members, the guard disengages and remains on the obstacle, while protecting from damage the entire underbody of the car that continues to move over the guard. The guard itself rarely breaks in such cases and can usually be reattached using new fasteners.

Compliance with passive protection requirements

In the case of a strong frontal impact, the protector disconnects and allows the engine to get under the car interior without undue burden. Thus, the engine guard fulfills another important task - it ensures the passive protection requirements according to EURO NCAP norms.
